Hello and welcome! I would like to take a moment to thank you for visiting and encourage you to explore more about what I offer to help support you through life's challenges.
Being treated with dignity is what you can expect from our therapeutic partnership from the moment you are welcomed into my space. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you have the opportunity to be heard and validated.
My practice includes many therapeutic methods which are tailored to meet your individual needs, mind, body and spirit.
Together we will set goals, design and implement effective interventions specifically to meet your needs. For best results, I ask you to be an active participant in our therapeutic partnership!
MY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
My extensive education includes receiving a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Miami University, followed by a Master degree in Education from Xavier University and a Master in Social Work from Indiana University. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapy Board.
My professional experience includes agency, hospital, school based and private practice settings.
PRACTICE FOCUS
My practice is centered around helping adolescents, adults and families achieve the happiness and fulfillment they desire and deserve.
I work with individuals (13yrs and up) as well as families with a wide spectrum of needs. Such needs include overcoming trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties (personal and professional), regulating mood and emotions, addressing conflict and improving communication as well as adjustment and grief issues.
FEES & PAYMENT
In most cases, payment is expected at the time of service by cash, check or credit card. I am happy to work with you in order to access any insurance benefits you may have. I am currently "in-network" with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Caresource, Medical Mutual, Optum, United Health Care and UMR. If I am not listed as an in-network provider for your insurance policy, you may be entitled to “out of network” benefit coverage.
Please check with your insurance carrier to determine the coverage benefits you may expect. I invite you to contact me to discuss any specific questions or concerns you may have about payment arrangements.
